Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor in Finance at Nova School of Business and Economics and a visiting scholar at De Nederlandsche Bank.
My research interests are in macro-finance, climate finance, and household finance. I study how market incentives and financing frictions shape households’ response to climate change, through adaptation and mitigation, along with the resulting distributional effects. I also examine how investors respond to firms' efforts to mitigate climate transition risks and the associated pricing implications.
I obtained a PhD in Finance from the University of Amsterdam and Tinbergen Institute. I also hold an MPhil in Economics from Tinbergen Institute (with distinction), a BSc in Economics (with highest distinction and valedictorian) and a LL.B. in Dutch law (dean's list) from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
