Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor in Finance at Nova School of Business and Economics.
My research interests are in macro-finance, climate finance, and household finance. I study how market incentives and financing frictions shape households’ response to climate change, through adaptation and mitigation, along with the resulting distributional effects. I also examine whether investors value firms' efforts to mitigate climate transition risks and the implications for capital allocation.
My research has been recognised with the Best Student Paper Award at the CEPR European Conference on Household Finance, and has been featured by Bloomberg.
I obtained my PhD in Economics from the University of Amsterdam and the Tinbergen Institute. I also hold an MPhil in Economics from the Tinbergen Institute and a BSc in Economics and LLB in Dutch Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam. I am a visiting researcher at De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) and the University of Amsterdam, and I am affiliated with the Amsterdam Center for Law and Economics (ACLE) and the Amsterdam Climate Institute (SEVEN).
