I am an Assistant Professor in Finance at Nova School of Business and Economics and a visiting scholar at De Nederlandsche Bank.
My research interests are in macro-finance, climate finance, and household finance. I study how market incentives and financing frictions shape households’ response to climate change, through adaptation and mitigation, along with the resulting distributional effects. I also examine whether investors value firms' efforts to mitigate climate transition risks and the implications for capital allocation.
My research has been recognized with several awards, including the Best Student Paper Award at the CEPR European Conference on Household Finance, and has been featured by Bloomberg.
I obtained a PhD in Finance from the University of Amsterdam and Tinbergen Institute in 2025. I hold a MPhil in Economics from the Tinbergen Institute, a BSc in Economics and a LLB in Dutch Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
