Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor in Finance at Nova School of Business and Economics.
My research interests are in macro-finance, climate finance, and household finance. I study how market incentives and financing frictions shape households’ response to climate change, through adaptation and mitigation, along with the resulting distributional effects. I also examine whether investors value firms' efforts to mitigate climate transition risks and the implications for capital allocation.
I obtained my PhD in Economics from the University of Amsterdam and the Tinbergen Institute. I also hold an MPhil in Economics from the Tinbergen Institute and a BSc in Economics and LLB in Dutch Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam. I am a visiting researcher at De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) and the University of Amsterdam.
